The goal of the Transformation and Restoration of the Traumatized Heart Workshop is to introduce the participants to trauma/evidenced-based therapeutic principles using a Christ-centered approach rather than a problem/person-centered approach to healing the mind, heart and spirit.

This workshop is education on God's teaching and about how he restores and transforms lives.

This program also assists in breaking down barriers that have resulted from trauma so you can have a closer relationship with God, as he is the ultimate healer.

During this workshop, you will gain foundational skills to start your journey in seeking God's answers to healing your pain from past trauma. This program will help you work on a personal level between you and God to start the refinement process in your life that is intended to get rid of spiritual impurities and help you reflect Him through you. This is a personal journey between you and God so He can work to strengthen you.

You will be provided with a workbook that includes worksheets containing the material and worksheets to challenge you and help you grow in your spiritual relationship with God.

During the workshop you will gain knowledge about what causes trauma, the symptoms resulting from trauma, and how trauma affects us in the multiple domains of our lives. You will learn some ideas on how to regulate your bodily responses to stressors that disrupt daily life activities and the purpose of some of the difficult emotions and identify how to modulate them. You will also learn about specific difficult emotions that are intensified due to a negative core belief, irrational thought, or unhelpful thinking style that may have resulted from a past trauma and learn how to take these thoughts and beliefs captive and align them with God's word. You will be able to identify unhelpful thinking styles and emotions that may result in adverse behaviors and undesirable outcomes. We will go deeper than just changing emotions, thoughts, and behaviors as the goal is to change the attitude of our hearts and minds and allow for refinement in our lives. You will learn about values and be able to prioritize your values as well and identify negative values that are preventing you from living your positive values. We will discuss the fruits of the Holy Spirt and the donning of the armor of God.

The cost of the program is just $25 a person per person to offset the costs of workbooks, tote bags, and activities. This workshop is held at your location on Saturdays at 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM with an hour and a half break for lunch. Lunch is not provided.
